What could go wrong?: Scientists brings back two Dire wolf puppies from extinction by using ancient fossils, watch them howl for the first time in 10,000 years

Well, friends and animal fam, the impawssible has now been made pawssible: we have officially brought back the first animals from extinction. Yes, you read that right. Colossal Biosciences, a "de-extinction" company has brought back two dire wolf puppies (yes, the same ones that were in Game of Thrones) from fossils dating back over 70,000 years ago. It truly is a momentous day for history, and on top of that, these puppies are literally the cutest non-extinct puppies we've ever seen in our lives.

The company posted on their X page all about the process and has even started a YouTube channel so you can follow the pups' growth, if you want. We know we'll be tuning in. For now, though, we've collected some pawfectly pawdorable pictures of the puppies, as well as a video of the first dire wolf howl in over 10,000 years.
